      We have three years left on our warranty, and Rheem says we have to pay the difference between what we paid originally and the cost of a new water heater. Ive read through the warranty, and that is not what it says. Im sure I will get one of those please contact us messages in response to this review, but Ive already spoken to four people. Why would I waste any more of my time with such a dishonest company?

      had air and heat system worked well until warranty ran out now we have leaks every time we turn around. Paid more for up keep than the system. Not happy at all.

      I would say zero, Rheem refuses to stand behind their own warranty. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, SCAM COMPANY WORTHLESS.

      Tankless Water Heater and **************** Extremely Low Quality. I purchased from ********** under Manufacturer just 3 years old already broken, parts on backorder 10 days no hot water. They want me pay a plumber to deinstall move deliver to ********** and get another transport back and reinstall after have my family with no hot water for 10 days. Never will buy from this company again and I suggest you do business with a reputable Mfr. who understands the meaning of customer service. Save yourself some pain.

      Rheem ***************************** 27 kwh Water Heater. This is the absolute worst product you could purchase for your home. If you are looking to completely trash your entire plumbing system and constantly replace shredded up coils, purchase this dumpsterfire piece of machinery. It has exploded coils 3X since it's purchase and has untimate left us with metal shards and coil parts sent down every water outlet in our entire home. If anyone else has experienced these issues and a class action is created, I will gladly participate. Those metal shards were in our drinking water. This product needs to go away!

      Worst possible product to spend your money on. Brand new 50 gallon electric water heater that won’t even give you one good hot shower before going cold. Called customer service just to try and get my money back and lo and behold that’s not gonna happen cause they want up waste your time with non sense on sending out techs to service the unit. It’s brand new. With brand new parts!!!! You just have a poor product. We went with an AO Smith electric water heater. No complaints what so ever. Don’t let this Rheem company steal your money like the government does. Shop around save money on a better unit. Be weary of anything that you can’t return to the store that’s where they get you.

      I purchased a Rheem water heater and after 3 months it stops working. Water leaked out of hot water heater and now it will not heat water but I have to rewire the hot water heater before I can get someone to come look at it even though its under warranty. Dont buy a rheem hot water heater.

      Don't Buy A Rheem! We are homeowners that purchased a heat/air condition system from CDF Mechanical of ********** on 4/2021 to warm and cool our new house. It did neither. The installer bought the system from ***** in ** , who bought the system from Rheem in ** who is owned by ****** in *****. After 3 years of no heat and air, we had to find and pay for another installer $5700 to fix the duct work and repair. We finally recovered the $5700 from the installer. Shortly another problem arose and we had to pay the new installer an additional $904 to repair it because ***** said it is not covered by warranty. It was determined that the original poor installation damaged the compressor and ***** ordered a replacement at no charge however ***** says that the cost to install it, will not be covered. We are not pleased with their Rheem system, nor are we pleased with ***** for selling a high-end unit to an installer that ***** described to us as not knowing how to install high end systems. We are further aggravated with ***** for not assisting us with the two labor charges totaling $2,336.41 considering what weve gone through with the system and installer. Since ***** doesnt want to help us, we're left with no alternative but to share honest reviews of our experience with Rheem and AMSCO both to other consumers and to the management of Rheem and *****************. Our goal is to educate and warn unsuspecting homeowners of the problems with Rheem and the lack of customer care provided. Bottom line: ***** allowed a known incompetent installer to buy and improperly install an expensive, high end Rheem system and allowed homeowners to suffer through more than 3 years of inadequate heat and air conditioning. ***** will not go the extra mile to assist with $2,336.41 to repair/install a replacement to make things right for the homeowners and protect Rheems reputation. Its for this reason, we will be making a concerted effort to let people know, not to buy Rheem.
